Our Mission

The mission of the Foundation for Research & Education Excellence is to promote and support research, and education and advancement, in the biomedical and health sciences, higher education and learning, and in creativity and discovery in general.

The Foundation supports high quality, relevant and impactful biomedical research, including, but not limited to, those focused on improving women’s and children’s health, public health policy, and global health. The Foundation also supports quality, relevant and impactful higher education scholarship and research, and fostering relevant higher education public policy, including, but not limited to, those focused on reducing educational disparities, and improving student access and success. 

Overall, the activities of the Foundation are meant to support the betterment of the human condition by fostering and supporting research, discovery, and policy development concerning issues and matters relevant to biomedicine and human health, and by fostering and supporting scholarship, research, and policy development concerning issues and matters relevant to higher education.
